    Q & A:

    • Why can’t we register and pay on the website?

The best answer is, we are saving you $20 by having you mail in your registration and conference fee. Our website is handy, but the provider charges an arm and a leg in fees to process online payments! Then add on the bank’s cut, the credit card companies’ cut.

  • Arrive Thursday afternoon (Check in – May 2, 4:00 to 5:00) at the Hermit Basin Christian Conference Center; a vintage ski lodge on the slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains 68 scenic miles southwest of Pueblo, Colorado.

Enjoy motel style lodging, meals in the dining room, a soak in the hot tub, a walk in the pines, great views across the valley or up the mountain, and clean mountain air while studying God’s Word and worshipping Him together with sisters in Christ.

    • CONECTIONS:

What connections do we as Christians have to Israel and the Jewish people? Is the Old Testament just Bible stories meant to teach us how to live? And does our interest end at the last page of the Bible?

    • Connect with solitude

    • Connect with friends old and new

    • Connect with God’s Word

    • Connect with God’s Creation

    • Connect with the Heavenly Father

    • Connect with Christian Roots

    • Connect with Your Savior

    • Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 122:6. In Hebrew it’s “sha’alu shalom Yerushalayim.” The more we know about someone, the better connection we have, and the better we can pray. In our time together we will “go beyond the flannelgraph” and see how history and culture give form and color to enhance our study of Scripture.

    • Happy Holydays!

We are going to celebrate some off-calendar holidays together!

  • Basic Schedule – We will join in morning and evening Bible study sessions. Friday after lunch until suppertime is free for you to shop, relax, hike, read, study or whatever adventures you can find.

    • A Dark Sky Community

Westcliffe & Silvercliffe - Colorado’s first & one of the highest altitude international dark sky communities in the world! That means they keep it dark in the valley so we can see the stars! What an amazing sight! We will enjoy two nights here at Hermit Basin Christian Conference Center, so take some time to step outside and look up! See the infinite power of our Creator who “stretched out the heavens like a tent to dwell in” (Isaiah 40:22) This is not a sight we can see in the city!
